BEHIND THE LENS

  Hello! I'm Michelle Watson and I absolutely love to take pictures!  I didn't know I wanted to do photography until about 2 1/2 years into college. I decided to take the Intro to Photography class out of curiosity and immediately fell in love and caught on pretty quickly. I later found out that my great grandmother had the first photography studio in my little home town! Needless to say that made me even more passionate about photography. I have been striving ever since to become great at what I love.



   I graduated in 2010 with a B.A. in Art at the University of Montevallo. From January of 2011 until the end of July 2012, I was assisting an amazing photographer of Savannah, GA, T.G. Martin. This man took me in, knowing I was very new to the business side of photography. Because of his patience, honesty, and endless knowledge of photography, I have come a long way in a short time and learned so much. Sadly, Mr. Martin passed away August of 2012. I couldn't have asked for a better mentor and will always strive to make him proud.



   Now I have started my own journey to become a great photographer. Some of my work includes families, pets, weddings, and portraits for City Hall and the County Commissioners Office of Savannah GA.  I will always do my best in capturing your memories, working with you to make your experience a great one and your photographs highest quality!
